Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to support our National Accounts with a primary focus across Department Store, Specialty, and Outdoor channels. This role plays a critical part in enabling sales execution through accurate customer product set ups, sample coordination, specialized reporting, and sales enablement tools that drive incremental revenue. Partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Sales Operations teams, this position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with strong Excel skills and clear communication abilities.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. (3) Days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and (2) Days Remote.
Customer Setup and Sales Enablement:
- Execute retailer product set ups ahead of each go to market cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all assigned accounts
- Coordinate style outs and product line transitions with retail partners
- Maintain and update retailer portals with the most current product information, including platforms such as NuOrder and K Link
- Assist with B2B product setup, promotional events, and featured product launches
- Create custom sales sheets, line lists, and customer specific selling tools to support account needs
Pricing, Orders, and Samples:
- Maintain customer pricing files and validate purchase orders for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with agreed terms
- Fulfill retailer product sample requests in a timely and organized manner, coordinating internally as needed
Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop, maintain, and distribute specialized sales reports to support performance tracking and identify revenue growth opportunities
- Leverage Excel and internal systems to analyze sales trends, account performance, and operational opportunities
Cross Functional Partnership and Operations:
- Partner closely with internal and external Sales teams, Product, and Sales Operations to ensure seamless execution of key initiatives
- Support administrative and operational workflows, including filing, shipping coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales operations processes and tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with reporting, data analysis, and managing large datasets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Experience supporting National Accounts or complex retail customers
- Comfortable working cross functionally with wide-spread teams
- Proactive, motivated, and solutions-oriented mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred ExperienceConsumer products industry experience, particularly footwear, apparel, or related categories, is a plus but not required
