Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a bulk manager to oversee the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods in the store. The role requires handling heavy loads, ensuring outstanding customer service, and leading a team in a dynamic, fast‑paced retail environment.

• Follow the merchandising Bulk plan and ensure team members properly package, scale, and price bulk items accurately and legibly.
• Order, maintain, and rotate inventory using code dates to support food safety and reduce waste.
• Ensure the bulk department complies with all company and governmental safety, health, Weights & Measures, and COOL regulations.
• Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to Street; (transparent through consistent communication).
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure the bulk area is clean, organized, and properly displayed at all times.
• Receive, unload, and stock merchandise throughout the day.
• Coach, evaluate, and develop team members through feedback, on‑one coaching, and bi‑annual performance reviews.
• Attend in‑store meetings and collaborate with the Store Manager on recruitment, hiring, and promotion or transfer decisions.
• Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns and, when necessary, take corrective action in collaboration with HR and business partners.
• Create and adjust schedules and staffing levels to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lead a team that collaborates to deliver high‑quality product and a memorable customer experience.
• Serve as a Key Carrier for the store or act as a Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.

• Have 1‑2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Be dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Know weekly ad items and be able to direct customers to product locations within the store.
• Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and related financial goals.
• Be outgoing, friendly, and maintain a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Able to lift and move products up to 50 lbs. and stand for the required hours of the shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
