Part-Time Research Associate RNA synthesis & Analytical Assays

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Research Associate to support core laboratory operations including RNA production, analytical and cell-based assays, and cell culture maintenance. This is a hands‑on bench role ideal for a detail-oriented scientist who works well independently. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to grow into a full‑time position with competitive salary and benefits.

• RNA production: RNA synthesis using proprietary methods, purification, and QC (yield, integrity, purity)
• RNA quantification and quality assessment (Nanodrop, Bioanalyzer/Tape Station, or equivalent)
• Design, optimization, and execution of ELISA and related immunoassays
• Blotting and other detection assays
• Routine mammalian cell culture maintenance (passaging, plating and transfection)
• Maintain detailed lab records, SOPs, and experimental documentation

• B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field
• 1+ year of hands‑on bench experience in a research or biotech setting
• Proficiency in RNA workflows, ELISA, western blotting, and mammalian cell culture
• Rigorous attention to detail and commitment to data quality and reproducibility
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively on a part‑time schedule

• Experience with RNA production and analytic workflows
• Familiarity with additional cell‑based assay platforms (fluorescent microscopy, Luminescence, viability assays, etc.)

• 2–3 days per week, flexible scheduling considered
