Registered Nurse

Front Porch Communities & Services is offering a part‑time Registered Nurse position (NOC Shift). The role requires a California RN license and is available Wednesday to Saturday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., with pay range $50–$58 per hour.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, the RN coordinates, supervises, and directs the work of CNAs and LVN Charge Nurses, ensuring resident needs are met according to federal and state regulations and company policy.

• Provide quality and efficient customer service to residents, families, co‑workers, and vendors.
• Review referrals in absence of admissions or the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinate and perform patient assessments and plan of care evaluations.
• Assist LVN and CNA staff with their duties as needed.
• Coordinate and perform needed treatments, medications or other nursing interventions as indicated by the plan of care or physician orders.
• Ensure all emergency measures are followed per company policy and nursing practice standards.
• Maintain required documentation per federal, state and company policy.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and medications; protect patient rights.
• Arrive to work on time, in a clean uniform, with good personal hygiene and visible name tag.
• Follow highest cleanliness standards and federal, state, and company policies; handle foodstuffs safely.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently; wear required safety equipment; report hazards and accidents.
• Attend mandatory in‑service meetings and comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Support the company’s commitment to accident prevention through proper safety equipment and instructions.
• Follow safe work habits to prevent injuries to self, residents, visitors or other employees.

• Registered Nurse – California license

• Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent qualifications accepted)

• Previous knowledge of state and federal regulations
• 1+ years of long‑term‑care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nursing experience

The actual compensation offered will depend on various factors including knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications.
