Project Manager II

Isto Biologics, a growing, 100% biologics-focused company committed to helping patients heal faster by providing a range of advanced solutions to surgeons of varying specialties, is seeking a Project manager II in its Carlsbad, CA location. This is a full time office based position.

Working under the direction and guidance of the Director of Project Management, the Project Manager II is responsible for:

• Identifying project inhibitors and obtaining solutions
• Establishing milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
• Leading and driving multi-disciplinary and cross functional projects, including Engineering, Operations, Quality and Regulatory to ensure successful project execution
• Understanding and apply Lean principles as appropriate
• Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, responsible for escalating critical business decisions to appropriate management
• Building and maintaining project documentation

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Project Management, or related field;
  Masters degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably leading projects in the medical device industry
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different departments
• Proven experience in the medical device and/or biologics industries
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
