Location: Carlsbad, CA

Pharmaron is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Technician II to join our growing team in Carlsbad, CA. In this hands‑on role, you will maintain essential building systems that support our scientific research operations.

• Respond promptly to all facility tickets, facilitating timely resolution.
• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems in all site buildings.
• Regularly inspect, operate, and maintain the site's HVAC systems to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations for animal facilities.
• Assist in renovations of existing facilities and other projects.
• Maintain comprehensive repair records and other paperwork in compliance with GMP/GLP, AAALAC, and USDA standards.
• Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and storage of facilities tools and supplies.
• May assist in the development of the departmental budget.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
• 3-5 years of related experience in general building maintenance with a mechanical and construction background.
• Current, valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
