Job Description
We are a boutique law firm located in Carlsbad specializing in the representation of financial institutions. We are seeking a full-time paralegal/legal secretary to join our litigation side of the firm. Applicant will be working as part of a litigation team with three litigation attorneys and two paralegals. Knowledge of court procedures and experience with collection/bankruptcy litigation preferred but not required.
Responsibilities- Work as part of litigation team with three attorneys and two paralegals.
- Assist with collection/bankruptcy litigation and other litigation tasks.
- Organize and manage case files and documents.
- Communicate with clients and courts.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Effective communication skills with clients and courts.
- Knowledge of court procedures; experience with collection/bankruptcy litigation preferred.
