Overview
MeBe is a provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs. Our mission is to empower families, professionals, and communities by educating and training them on evidence-based approaches. Our multi-disciplinary care includes OT, Speech, and ABA.

MeBe offers one of the top ABA training programs using the Vincent Carbone method, including two weeks of paid training to prepare you to pass your RBT exam. MeBe Family will pair you with Supervisors to shadow and guide you.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause social, communication, mental health, and behavioral challenges. While autism can be diagnosed at any age, symptoms typically appear in early childhood. Working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family helps determine the right combination of treatment and services.
As a Behavior Technician, you’ll:
- Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting for children with autism at MeBe’s Learning Center.
- Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
- Relay progress information to BCBAs to support assessments.
- Record behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach using your tablet at the end of each session.
- Clock in, submit session notes, and clock out in accordance with ABA and provider regulations.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workplace.
- Assist with meals, bathroom needs, and diaper changes as required.
- Support projects and tasks as directed by the Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.
- Ask questions and raise concerns to supervisors and participate in treatment planning.
- Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
- Consistent availability Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts available.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
- TRICARE certification is preferred.
- Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, or related experience.
- Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, and/or run; see with prescription lenses; hear with hearing aids.
- First Aid and CPR training is preferred; CPR/BLS certification required before working with clients.
- Ability to pass a background check and work with computers.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
- Industry-competitive pay based on experience and location (Pay: $22-$27/hour, depending on experience).
- Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
