Podiatry Biller (Hybrid | Carlsbad, CA)

We’re partnering with a growing healthcare technology company that develops modern EMR, practice management, and AI-enabled tools designed specifically for podiatry practices.

They’re looking for an experienced Podiatry Biller to manage end-to-end billing and revenue cycle functions while also contributing insight to improve billing and coding workflows within a modern software environment.

• Manage the full billing lifecycle: claims submission, payment posting, denials, and AR follow-up
• Resolve clearinghouse rejections and unpaid/underpaid claims
• Monitor aging AR and mitigate timely filing risk
• Identify coding and documentation issues impacting reimbursement (CPT, ICD-10, modifiers)
• Collaborate with podiatrists and staff to resolve billing discrepancies
• Provide practical feedback to improve billing and coding workflows
• Stay current on podiatry billing rules and payer requirements

• 2+ years of medical billing or RCM experience
• Podiatry billing experience is required
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and reimbursement processes
• Experience with EMR and practice management systems
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
