Loan Processor

Carlsbad, CA | In-Office or Remote | Contract – Per File

PGS Home Loans is seeking an experienced, high-level Mortgage Loan Processor to join our purchase-focused brokerage in North San Diego County.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a professional who can confidently manage a file from contract to close and deliver an exceptional client experience throughout the transaction.

Our processors are among the highest paid in the industry because we expect top-tier performance.

This is a full-time processing position (contract per file compensation). You may work in-office or remotely.

Our processing department is fully supported by:

• File setup team
• Submission and disclosure department

You will NOT lock, register, or submit loans.

You WILL focus on managing underwritten approved files and driving them to closing.

• Process Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, VA, USDA, Reverse, and non-QM loans (purchase and refinance)
• Review and verify credit, income, assets, preliminary title, appraisal, escrow instructions, and supporting documentation
• Identify and resolve documentation or qualification issues
• Communicate with outside vendors to obtain required documentation
• Coordinate with underwriting and loan officers
• Manage a pipeline of approximately 15–30 loans
• Provide proactive written updates and phone communication with clients

• Deliver outstanding service from Contract to Close
• Take full ownership of your pipeline
• Provide consistent, professional communication with clients

• 3–5+ years of experience processing Conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loans
• Strong knowledge of disclosures and compliance
• Proficiency with ARIVE (preferred)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
