CLA is currently seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to join our growing team in either of our Carlsbad, CA office.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team. Handle routine client tax questions and work with client to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
- Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
- Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
- Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
- Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You have an active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
- You have at least one year of experience in a tax role with a public accounting firm.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
The compensation range for this position in California is: $63,200 - $108,000
