Tax Manager - Hybrid

We are seeking a Tax Manager and Senior Tax Manager based out of our Carlsbad, CA office. Someone with industry knowledge within the Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector is a big plus. You are expected to be in the office 3x/week.
What You'll DoThis well seasoned individual will work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of tax engagements, supervise/mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
- CPA, JD, LLM or MST required
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional services experience required
- Extensive experience with C-Corp Form 1120 tax filing entities and ASC 740 tax provisions is required for the Senior position
- Industry knowledge within the Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector a plus
- Demonstrated strategic leadership. Defining market opportunities, creating a strategic plan, process and deployment capabilities
- Strong verbal communication. Demonstrate clear verbal communication
- Strong writing skills. Demonstrate clear written professional communication
