Senior/Principal Quality Engineer-2 Positions (Med Device Experience Required)

Currently looking to fill two full-time Senior/Principal Quality Engineering positions in Carlsbad (position level dependent on amount of experience). One of the positions is focused on Sustaining Quality Engineering activities and the other positions is focused on Design Quality Engineering (NPI/NPD).

PREVIOUS QUALITY ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE IN THE MEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRY IS REQUIRED FOR BOTH POSITIONS.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of quality engineering experience in medical device (Senior-level); 7+ years of quality engineering experience in medical device (Principal-level)
• Experience with Validations (Process, Equipment, TMC), statistical analysis (SPC), CAPA management, FMEAs and failure investigations
• Quality Engineering experience with class II or class III medical devices

Nice to Have Experience

• Experience with either cardiac/cardiovascular medical devices or experience with medical device capital equipment
• Experience working with suppliers on process/product quality improvements

Required Experience

• 4+ years of quality engineering experience in medical device (Senior-level); 7+ years of quality engineering experience in medical device (Principal-level)
• Strong experience with Design Controls and Risk Management
• Quality Engineering experience with class II or class III medical devices
• Experience with either cardiac/cardiovascular/catheter medical devices or experience with medical device capital equipment
• Bachelor's Degree

Nice to Have Experience

• Quality Engineering experience with electronic medical devices
