You will have the opportunity to bring Vuori designs to life. Asa Product Developerfocused on apparel, you will use your knowledge of product development and processes to bring innovative designs tomarket. You are the link between design, merchandising, technical design,planning,and factories. It is essential that all communication is accurate, complete,timely,and professional.

What you ll get to do:

• Manage thedevelopmentprocess, including the creation of seasonal WIPs, ensuring all vendors are sendingupdated information on weekly basis, reviewing data to ensureaccuracyand following up on status as needed
• Manages allsubmits–reviewing,approving, andorganizationall submits
• Ownerin preparation for meetings by organizing samples /submits/costing /development
• Responsible forPLMdata integrity of all critical style information and technical properties
• Maintains accuracy of technical packages that meet the product’s goals for innovation, function,fitand commercial viability
• Participates in fittings with tech designer,designerandmerchandiser;primary contact forcommunicationdirectly with vendors
  -Liaison between vendor and Vuori HQ
• Responsible for communicating all comments to vendors; written and verbal, on pertinent design/development& reviewing information with cross functional team
• Negotiatescostingwith vendors/factories to achievecost targetson a seasonal basis
• Responsible forrequesting, evaluating, and approving all quality and compliance testing for designated category
• Responsible for on time delivery of all sample & bulkdevelopmenttimelines
• Monitor time/action calendars to hit target calendar dates including proto, Photo Shoot, Sales Samples, Pre-production through Bulk
• Assists with seasonal marketing deliverables including communication of photo sample status

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering,Manufacturingorequivalentyears of experience preferred.
• 3+ years of product development experience isrequiredand/or product management experience with an understanding of managing product from conceptthroughcompletion
• Sense of fashion and trend in relation to themarket
• Mustpossessstrong knowledge of costing, garment construction, and all pre-production coordination
• Strategic understanding of timelines and deadlines in relation to a seasonal calendar
• Knowledge of materials used in the engineering and manufacturing processes used to build products
• Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction details orrelated art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshopa plus
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Experience in PLM systems is a plus
• Aptitude for systems and systematic work
• Domestic or International travelmay be required
• Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weightup to25lbs, depending on need

The salary range for this role is $86,400 per year - $111,195 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
