As part of SCIEX, you will help to influence life changing research and outcomes. As the Warehouse Lead, you will oversee daily operations on the warehouse floor, serving as the primary bridge between management and associates.

This role ensures productivity goals are met, safety protocols are enforced, and inventory is managed accurately through hands‑on leadership and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and staging outbound orders. Communicate with customers to answer shipping/receiving questions and resolve disputes and discrepancies.
  • Manage real‑time inventory flow via Oracle EBS, conduct regular cycle counts, and troubleshoot discrepancies to maintain high accuracy. Lead and coordinate annual physical inventory and reconciliation.
  • Enforce OSHA safety guidelines and internal security protocols; conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure the proper use of PPE.
  • Provide guidance to team members on daily tasks. Track and report on warehouse productivity metrics (KPIs), recommending adjustments to workflow or equipment to optimize efficiency.
  • Apply strong knowledge of modern warehouse methods and practices in a chemical reagents and medical device manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; an associate’s degree in logistics or a related field is a plus. 3–5 years of progressive warehouse experience with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Proficiency in WMS, ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and handheld RF scanning technology.
  • Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift in varying temperatures and lift and move objects typically ranging from 40 to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Preferred Experience
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem‑solving abilities to resolve operational bottlenecks and team conflicts.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and Quality System Regulations (QSR’s).
  • Current certifications for Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts or electric pallet jacks.

The annual salary range for this role is $60,000.00 - $70,800.00. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
