Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Carlsbad, CA. The Accountant will perform day-to-day tasks such as preparing financial records, generating financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes
• Over 3 years of experience in the accounting field supporting multiple business environments
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Skilled in financial statement preparation, review, and reconciliation activities
• Proficient in Quick Books Online and advanced use of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
• Solid understanding of payroll operations, including processing payroll through ADP Run
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in public accounting or similar professional services environment is a plus
• Proven ability to manage and transition efficiently between clients across diverse industries
• Ability to work with AI tools and intelligent agents, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude AI, to improve workflow efficiency, reporting, and business support

Salary: $72,000 – $85,000 per year + benefits
