7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated 7.5 Tonne Driver (Cat C1 ) to join the team.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:00am start until around 10:00am (paid minimum 4 hours)

Start Date:

20.03.2026

Pay Rate: £14.85 per hour PAYE

Location:

Carlisle, CA3

Job Type: Minimum 4 week contract, potentially leading to ongoing work

The role:

* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to sub depots or delivery/collection units.

-high value goods.

* 1 drpp per shift - Carlisle to Distington

* Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

* Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5 Tonne).

* 6 months experience required

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
