Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role based in Carlisle for a Control and Scheduling Manager. The individual will oversee staff scheduling, ensure efficient deployment of resources, and coordinate with clients to meet their security requirements. Key responsibilities include managing shift patterns, handling staff queries, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The manager will also monitor operational procedures and provide timely reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications- Proficiency in workforce scheduling, time management, and resource allocation
- Strong understanding of security management, contract administration, and compliance with regulations
- Experience in leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in computer systems, software tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in security operations or facilities management, with relevant certifications (e.g., SIA license, NSI training) being advantageous
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and to handle emergency situations effectively
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and adapt to operational needs
Salary: £35,000 per annum for a 42.5 hour flexible working week - to be available to cover shifts as and when required.
