Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Operate 12‑hour shifts with immediate start.
• Control access to entrances, ensuring only authorised personnel enter.
• Maintain logs of site activity, incident reports, sign‑in/out sheets, patrol logs, daily logs, handover sheets.
• Conduct high‑profile external and internal patrols, secure premises and personnel, monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Prevent incidents and damage by providing a visual presence, reporting incidents to authorities, recording observations, interviewing witnesses, obtaining signatures.

• Valid SIA licence (required).
• Surveillance skills: judgment, objectivity, dependability, integrity, safety management, professionalism, reporting skills, communication, basic IT skills.
• Previous experience and dog‑handling qualification/certification.
• Own canines, caged van, and canine insurance.
• Reliable, friendly, professional appearance, and approachable manner.
