IT Support, Technical Support, Data Analyst
The IT & Facilities Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Grains internal IT and office services. The position supports colleagues across the business by delivering efficient first-line technical support, managing day-to-day IT and facilities requests, and maintaining clear technical and process documentation.
The role also contributes to system improvements through configuration changes, small-scale automation, and accurate reporting. Over time, the position is designed to develop the role holders technical capability, providing a pathway toward more advanced responsibilities within the IT & Facilities team, such as Senior IT Analyst or Developer.
Main responsibilities- Manage IT tickets to support our internal customers’ requests whether that be systems support, or faults. You will be responsible for triaging tickets and resolving 1st line tickets and ensuring that outages and incidents are published.
- Document business processes including flowcharts, technical system documentation and user instruction guides.
- Manage facilities tickets and to support our internal customers including hotel booking requests, regular office consumables orders.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post, including sending parcels via our couriers.
- Provision hardware, and software for new starters and assist with IT induction.
- Perform small changes to IT systems such as changing configuration settings or deploying new versions of software.
This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.
These hours will be worked Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
You’ll have your degree ideally in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Business-related subject, and looking to develop your career in IT.

- Has a passion for data whether in a spreadsheet, or database, or unstructured documentation.
- Loves solving a problem and develop solutions which combine business ideas and technology.
- Happy to roll with the unexpected, as each day can offer different challenges.
- Has some experience of software development whether in business or as a hobby.
- Time management, efficient and well organised, your own project manager.
