We are looking for an experienced, caring and motivated individual to lead a supported Living service providing support for 7 tenants providing personalised support to people with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs living in their own homes. The supported living service provides 24 hour support and is set in one of Carlisle's most desirable addresses, convenient for Stanwix, parkland and the city centre.

• Lead and coordinate a supported living service for 7 tenants, providing personalised support to people with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs in their own homes.
• Deliver 24-hour support and operate within a rota to meet individual needs, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Direct support, staff deployment and supervision; work with families and other agencies; participate in support planning with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate the staff team to promote independence and the highest possible quality of life for service users.
• Contribute to service development and ensure compliance with relevant guidance, legislation and policies.

• Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification. We welcome applicants who have a relevant social care degree or are a qualified social worker.
• Experience with people experiencing mental health problems and learning disabilities, either in a community or supported living setting.
• Skills in positive engagement and knowledge of positive behavioral support; strong verbal and written communication; understanding of the recovery model and mental health legislation.
• Ability to communicate and participate in support planning with multi-disciplinary teams; excellent leadership, planning and coordination skills.
