Primary Teacher QTS | Year 1/2 – Carlisle

Humly is recruiting a Primary Teacher QTS to join a primary school on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time role starting 27/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role would suit an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher looking to take full responsibility for a Year 1/2 class in a supportive and welcoming environment. This position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

What You’ll Be Doing

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1/2 pupils

* Assess and monitor pupil progress to support learning outcomes

* Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment

* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching standards

* Provide targeted interventions to support individual pupil needs

* Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents as appropriate

What You’ll Bring

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a primary setting

* Strong classroom management skills

* Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for a class

* Enthusiasm for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

* Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

Pay

Non-AWR: £

130–150

per day
