Overview
2 x Upper Key Stage 2 Teachers – Carlisle
Humly is recruiting two Upper Key Stage 2 Teachers to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
These are full-time roles starting after Easter and continuing for the full summer term. The positions would suit confident and adaptable teachers with experience in Upper KS2 who are comfortable taking full class responsibility and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
What You’ll Be Doing- Planning and delivering high-quality teaching across Upper Key Stage 2
- Creating engaging lessons that support progress and attainment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence delivering the full primary curriculum
- The ability to adapt quickly within a new school setting
- A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Non-AWR: £120+ per day
- AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)

- Enhanced DBS required (If required, Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
