Secondary Teacher – Carlisle

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our partner school based in Carlisle, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people within a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons, supporting students to achieve their full potential and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

The school is an alternative education provider committed to supporting young people who may have experienced barriers to learning in mainstream settings. They specialise in creating smaller, nurturing environments where students receive tailored support to help them re-engage with education, build confidence and achieve recognised qualifications.

• Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Build positive, professional relationships with students

• Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
• A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
• Experience working with students who require additional support (desirable)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
