Teaching Assistant | EYFS

Overview

Humly is recruiting a Teaching Assistant EYFS to join a primary school on a temporary basis.

This is a full-time role starting 23 February 2026 and continuing to the end of the summer term. It is well suited to a teaching assistant who enjoys working in early years and is confident supporting young children with their learning, routines, and development.

• Support children with their learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
• Assist in planning and delivering activities that engage and inspire young learners
• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain daily routines
• Work alongside teaching staff to provide individual and group support
• Monitor and record pupils' progress, sharing observations with the class teacher

• Experience working in an early years setting or primary school
• Confidence in supporting children s learning, routines, and social development
• Strong communication skills with both children and colleagues
• Ability to follow guidance and work as part of a team
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for early years education

£13.70 per hour
