The Governors of Cummersdale School are seeking to appoint a teacher from 1st January 2026. The post is part time and would be 3 days per week (0.6). The school will also welcome applications from those who a start date of 23rd February 2026 or later might be more suitable.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Outstanding teaching skills across the age range
• The ability to co-ordinate and manage the SEN needs of the children at the school
• A flexible approach
• Enthusiasm and creativity
• Awareness of working in a small school
• A willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school
• The ability to work well as a member of a team

The role will involve teaching all classes in the school allowing for teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time. The successful candidate will also act as the school’s SENCo. Applications are invited from both experienced and Early Career Teachers.
