An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a busy Workshop, located in Carlisle. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Salary will be dependent on experience and will consist of a competitive basic salary + performance related bonus with a realistic on target earning of £39,900 p.a.

  Full Time, Permanent.

• Conducting Servicing & Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• MOT Testing
• Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.

• Qualified to Level 2 (or equivalent) at least in NVQ Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician, especially working on Light Commercials & Transit Vans.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
• You should have your own tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence

The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic (dependent on experience) with OTE of £39,900.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, with a Saturday rota (Flexible working patterns can be made available).
