Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a busy Workshop, located in Carlisle.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Conducting Servicing & Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
MOT Testing
Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.

Requirements:

Qualified to Level 2 (or equivalent) at least in NVQ Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Dedicated and committed approach.
Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician, especially working on Light Commercials & Transit Vans.
Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
You should have your own tools.
Full UK Driving Licence The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic (dependent on experience) with OTE of £39,900.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, with a Saturday rota (Flexible working patterns can be made available).
