An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join Lloyd Kia based in Carlisle
.

As an Accounts Assistant
, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the accounts department. You will work closely with the dealership’s Assistant Accountant and Retailer Accountant, handling day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, supporting accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the success of the business.

• Checking and re-allocating nominal postings
• Coding of Purchase Invoices
• Credit Control
• Completing and checking of mileage logs
• Ledger Maintenance – ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are tidy
• Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter Company Accounts
• Checking and allocating Manufacturer commission
• Stock counts
• Responsible for Petty Cash
• Daily Banking

• AAT qualification desirable but not essential
• General accounts experience, including Credit Control
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• IT literate
• General office/administration experience
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Experience in the motor industry and knowledge of Kerridge desirable (full training will be provided)

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 40 hours per week
