Position Overview:

We are seeking a thorough Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support our company's accounting operations. This role is ideal for an individual seeking to grow their accounting experience and contribute to a team that values your expertise and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

+ Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

+ Maintain general ledger and update financial records

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

+ Generate basic financial reports for management review

+ Support annual audit and tax preparation activities

+ Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and invoices

+ Maintain confidential financial information

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role

+ Familiarity with accounting software (such as Quick Books, Xero, or similar)

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

+ Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
