Waste Asset & Facilities Manager

Cardiff is growing faster than any other capital city in Europe and we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead the Waste Management Depot & Infrastructure Team in supporting frontline operations to deliver a high standard of service to the residents & visitors of Cardiff.

This is a key role ensuring that our facilities meet the needs of staff and visitors while complying with all relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will play an essential part in ensuring our assets are managed effectively and sustainably to support high-quality service delivery.

Proven experience in asset management is essential, ideally within a public sector or similar environment, and a strong understanding of health and safety legislation.

Excellent organisational and communication skills are key, along with the ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts effectively.

This vacancy is suitable for post share.

This role is not suitable for flexible or agile working due to its operational nature.

The post will be based at Lamby Way Depot however you will be expected to work from various locations and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.

A full and valid driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
