One of our clients are gearing up for a major R&D project and are looking at a 3 / 6 month contract for an Embedded SW Specialist. We are looking to identify high‑calibre Embedded Software / Firmware Contractors to support the development of custom hardware.
Key Technical Requirements- Embedded C / C++ : Expert‑level development for custom hardware platforms.
- Hardware Bring‑up : Experience working closely with R&D teams on new PCB designs.
- Microcontrollers :
Experience with STM
32, NXP, or i.MX architectures (highly desirable). - Communication Protocols : CAN-bus, Modbus, or Ethernet‑based industrial protocols.
- Local Presence : Must be able to commute to Cardiff for hands‑on hardware testing.
Role is likely to be a 3 or 6 month contract.
