Overview

Cardiff Family Advice and Support is an innovative and progressive service within the directorate of Children’s Services in Cardiff Council. Accredited with a Families First Quality Award, the service provides high quality information, advice and assistance for children, young people, families and professionals across the city. The service utilises a family centred, strengths based and inclusive approach, to identify the most appropriate support that will meet the wellbeing needs of both individuals and the family as a whole.

The teams within the service work collaboratively with a range of professionals and partners to ensure support is at the right level and at the right time.

Mae'r timau o fewn y gwasanaeth yn cydweithio gydag ystod o weithwyr proffesiynol a phartneriaid i sicrhau bod cefnogaeth ar y lefel iawn ac ar yr adeg iawn.

• Lead, develop and support a team of Family Help Advisors to deliver bespoke early intervention and prevention support to families referred to the team.
• Liaise and communicate with a range of service users, including families and professionals.
• Work alongside the Service Manager to support the continued development and quality of service delivery.

• Grade 7 Family Help Team Leader.
