CDPPersonal Assistant to Child

Job Overview

Though a part‑time job, this will be a proper role requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. You will be on a probation period initially. Wages will be paid every four weeks and you will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro‑rata).

The position will be based outside the personal assistant’s own home. The main purpose of the role is to support me out in the community and encourage my independence.

• Provide 3 hours of support for social activities (primarily Saturdays, 2 pm‑5 pm, though some flexibility may be required).

• National Insurance number must be provided.
• Required DBS (Police) check – the cost will be covered by the employer (Local Authority) and must be completed before employment can commence.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Considerate, caring and trustworthy.
• Friendly and chatty.
• Confident and proactive.
• Experienced – training will be provided as part of the condition of employment.
• Car driver with a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle to transport the employer.
• Willing to drive the owner's adapted vehicle.
