- Collaborate alongside a multi-agency team of professionals, partnering closely with families to ensure the best outcomes.
- Implement the Signs of Safety approach to underpin social work practices, making every interaction count.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective systems, ensuring high quality services are consistently delivered.
- Carry out Wellbeing Assessments, conduct child protection enquiry, and develop and review care and support plans.
- Operate in a multi-agency capacity to support families effectively.
- Attend Child Protection Conferences, participate in ‘Children who are Looked After’ Reviews, and, when necessary, engage with Court proceedings.
- Provide specialist advice and support across the children’s services team regarding children with additional needs.
- Play an active role in team duties, regular team meetings, and offer peer support to newly qualified social workers.
