- Support the Team Manager in delivering the Signs of Safety approach, ensuring a high‑quality service to children and families.
- Oversee a sub‑Team, focusing on staff development, supervision, and high‑risk Strategy Meetings on a rotational basis.
- Assist in “Ragging” referrals, allocations, and authorising Social Worker’s assessments, maintaining high standards in service delivery.
- Collaborate with MASH Partner Agencies, fostering positive, professional relationships that enhance service outcomes.
- Contribute to service development and participate in Task Force Groups, navigating the fast‑paced environment of MASH.
- Maintain safeguarding as a priority, working under pressure to meet critical deadlines and ensure timely progression to appropriate services.
- Be office‑based on a rota basis, supporting the Team Manager and reinforcing team collaboration and success.
This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Safeguarding and Child Protection are top priorities for the Council. Candidates must be registered with Social Care Wales.
