We are seeking an experienced Domestic Solar Installer to join a growing renewable energy team delivering high-quality residential solar PV installations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled installer who takes pride in their work, values safety, and wants to build a long-term career in a rapidly expanding sector.
You ll be working on domestic rooftops installing solar PV systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You ll join a supportive team with strong pipelines of work and genuine opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities- Install domestic solar PV systems to industry standards
- Work safely at height and follow all site safety procedures
- Carry out cable routing, mounting, panel installation and basic electrical tasks
- Support commissioning and handover processes
- Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with customers
- Work effectively as part of a small installation team
- Minimum 3 years experience installing domestic solar PV systems
- Strong understanding of domestic roof types and mounting systems
- Confident using power tools and working at height
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
- Desirable:
- Solar PV qualifications (e.g., BPEC, MCS-related training)
- Electrical qualifications (not essential)
- Experience with battery storage installations
- Basic salary up to £38,000 (depending on experience)
