Overview
Unify
HQ are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join a growing renewables team delivering high‑quality, non‑ECO Solar PV installations across South Wales. The role is primarily focused on Solar PV, with occasional involvement in ASHP projects. We are open to electricians who wish to bring their own apprentice or mate, provided standards and experience align.
The Role
Installation, testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems
Carrying out electrical works associated with renewable energy installations
Supporting electrical elements of ASHP installations where required
Testing, inspection and completion of all relevant certification
Fault finding, remedial works and maintenance tasks
Ensuring full compliance with BS 7671, manufacturer requirements and company standards
Maintaining excellent health and safety practices across all sites
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Testing & Inspection qualificationoror equivalent)
Proven Solar PV installation experience
High standards of workmanship and strong attention to detail
Sound understanding of site health and safety requirements
Full UK driving licence
Desirable (Not Essential)
Solar PV‑specific qualifications
Experience working on or alongside ASHP systems
ECS / CSCS card
Apprentice or electrical mate available to work as part of a team
