New Business Development Executive - Credit Insurance

Overview

I’m working with a specialist insurance group that is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their Credit Insurance team and lead growth across the South East region. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility and autonomy, with the potential to earn up to £70,000 plus commission for the right candidate.

This is a pure new business role where you’ll focus on generating high-value deals and building a strong pipeline. You’ll leverage your market knowledge and contacts to secure opportunities, attend networking events, and negotiate confidently with underwriters. You’ll also work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client service.

• Lead growth across the South East region as part of the Credit Insurance team.
• Generate high-value deals and build a strong sales pipeline for new business.
• Leverage market knowledge and contacts to secure opportunities, attend networking events, and negotiate with underwriters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client service for new clients.

• Experience in trade credit insurance and a proven track record in B2B sales.
• Open to strong sales professionals from related industries such as banking, credit agencies, commercial finance, invoice discounting, factoring, and other financial services.
• Understanding of credit risk and ability to thrive in a consultative sales environment.
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Hunter mentality with the confidence to work independently and deliver results.
