Mercury Systems is looking for a new talent to join its EMEA team. We are looking for a Product Line Sales Manager to oversee the development of sales growth objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs and ensures their execution in the Signal Solutions MMIC line of business/Unit. The individual will provide oversight, to the efforts of the area sales representatives and technical staff, working with both current and prospective customers.

They will evaluate performance of key national accounts and provide guidance and counsel to the Mercury Sales leadership team in how to be more effective in the company sales efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible to coordinate all selling activities, with Business development Commercial Product Sales efforts to maximize sale effectiveness.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and maintain a successful EMEA sales strategy for Mercury’s Signal Solutions MMIC business.
  • Introduce country specific sales and account plans to internal management staff.
  • Develop, implement & maintain a growth-oriented customer base.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs and results.
  • Prepare/monitor accurate and timely performance and activity reports for senior management.
  • Provide leadership, training, and direction to regional distributors and contracted representatives.
  • Forecast bookings and design win information as required.
  • Assists US business leaders with country-specific insight to operate successfully.
  • Directly manage select critical accounts.
  • Establish and implement short and long-term sales goals and objectives for these accounts.
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals and competitive pricing strategies for each local market.
  • Manage the delivery of sales materials, exhibits and promotional programs.
  • Represent the company at various community, trade association and/or business meetings to promote the company, its products and brand awareness.
  • Must perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Education:
  • Degree BSEE / MSEE in Electronics or equivalent
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in EU/UK markets.
  • Proven success in driving profitable growth business.
  • Demonstrated excellence driving and communicating positive change with management and staff.
  • Demonstrated competencies in structuring sales targets, revenue expectations, establishing contracts and skilled in negotiations.
  • Strong personal skill sets effective with an international customer base in a technical sales environment.
  • Proven competencies in excel, Word, power point and ERP system software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Mixed Signal (RFSOC) knowledge is a plus.
