The Development Bank of Wales is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Executive to play a pivotal role in enhancing our risk management and quality assurance framework. This senior role is central to our Quality Assurance team and will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering high-quality insights across the organisation.

• You will lead a team of Quality Assurance Executives, overseeing the delivery of regular qualitative reviews across our Investment and Property Services functions.
• Design and oversee thematic reviews and operational deep dives to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement effective controls that support procedural integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Produce accurate, timely, and insightful reports to senior management highlighting emerging trends, compliance concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with the Compliance Manager to evaluate the impact of regulatory changes and support the development and delivery of a comprehensive compliance training programme.

• Proven leadership experience, including guiding and developing others, with excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Background in quality assurance, compliance, and risk-based review processes, particularly within financial services or other regulated environments (advantageous).
