Veterinary Surgeon

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Surgeon located in the Greater Cardiff Area. The Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating a variety of animals with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Daily tasks include performing surgical procedures, conducting medical examinations, diagnosing and developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, and advising pet owners on the health and welfare of their animals.

You will also oversee and conduct laboratory tests to support diagnostics.

• Proficiency in Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Medicine to diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions.
• Strong skills in pet care to ensure patient welfare and provide exceptional support to clients.
• Experience and competence in Laboratory Skills, including conducting and analyzing tests to support accurate diagnosis.
• Qualifications such as a degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent, alongside registration with a professional veterinary body.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other veterinary professionals and staff.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in veterinary practices and technologies.
