Location:
Rhiwbina, Cardiff. Salary up to £75,000 DOE & Welcome Bonus up to £5,000.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and progressive team, working closely alongside the Director of Practice in day-to-day leadership and development of the business.
The Role- Provide high-quality clinical care to small animal patients, ensuring exceptional client service.
- Lead the veterinary team, setting clinical standards and ensuring best practice across all aspects of patient care.
- Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages continuous learning.
- Play a key role in the strategic development and future direction of the practice, ensuring we continue to provide excellence in veterinary care.
You are a MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon with significant experience in small animal practice, ready to take on leadership responsibilities.

- Confidence in performing routine surgeries and medicine; additional expertise welcomed.
- A passion for ongoing professional development and fostering team growth.
- A commitment to delivering excellent patient care and customer service, with a clear understanding of how leadership can make a positive impact.
Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am-7pm (No OOH or on-call duties).
Equipment & Facilities: In-house lab, digital x-ray, K laser, ultrasound scanner, endoscopic equipment, brand new dental x-ray.

Development: £1,200 CPD allowance with 40 hours paid pro rata, certificate support, learning and development opportunities via the IVC Evidensia Academy, access to Vetlexicon, research funding, £1,000 per annum Care Fund, Infection Prevention and Control Programme, Quality Improvement Programme.
Professional Memberships: BVA membership, VDS cover, RCVS fees.
