Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is recruiting a registered nurse to work in our invasive cardiology unit, which performs both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and offers a 24‑hour on‑call service for cardiac emergencies.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining professional standards within the clinical area, working within an inter‑professional team, and providing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. We also have a developing nurse‑led Cardiac Day Case Unit that operates alongside the theatres to care for day‑case patients.

Welsh speakers are desirable, but both Welsh and English speakers are welcomed.

• Ensure and maintain professional standards in line with NMC codes of conduct and other statutory and organisational standards.
• Work as part of an inter‑professional team to provide a unique service within invasive cardiology.
• Provide nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and 24‑hour on‑call service for cardiac emergencies.
• Support the nurse‑led Cardiac Day Case Unit.
