About the jobWe are looking for an individual with a passion for museums and objects and promoting access to the stories they tell.
You will be committed to ensuring our museum and collection is a true community resource and will care for our collection to professional museum standards.
You will be highly experienced in collections documentation, care and management to maintain our Museum Accreditation status, and have skills in pro-active collecting and community outreach.
What We Are Looking For From YouYou will need a relevant qualification and significant museum experience.
Additional informationThis vacancy is a post share. The working pattern is Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays and Fridays.
This role is part-time at 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The advertised salary is based on a full-time role (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). The actual salary will be lower than the advertised salary because of the part-time hours and weeks worked.
This post is temporary until 27 November 2026 to cover maternity leave.
