Monday to Friday - Rotating Shift (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm alternating weekly)
Salary:
Circa £43,000

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a site that is investing heavily in its future, with a major expansion and large-scale engineering project planned for 2026. You'll be joining a well-established engineering team in a hands‑on role, supporting site reliability, continuous improvement, and upcoming capital projects.

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing and production equipment
• Diagnose and fault‑find on electrical and mechanical systems
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and site procedures
• Accurately record maintenance activity using the site CMMS

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong electrical or mechanical bias (with multi-skilled capability)
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
• A proactive, team‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving skills
