Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of our client; a reputable and growing plant hire and maintenance company, for experienced Heavy Plant Fitters based in Cardiff.

You will be responsible for the repair, service, and maintenance of a wide range of heavy plant machinery, both in the workshop and occasionally out on site.

Troubleshooting : you'll carry out diagnostics and fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems across various plant machinery.

Equipment : typical machines include excavators, telehandlers, rollers, dumpers, and crushers from a variety of well-known manufacturers.

Mechanical Knowledge : strong understanding of heavy plant mechanics with a focus on hydraulic systems and diesel engines.

Brand Experience : prior experience working with brands such as JCB, Hitachi, Volvo, CAT, and Kubota is highly desirable.

Health & Safety : you will follow site safety protocols and ensure all plant is operating to a safe standard.

Independent Working : the ideal candidate will be a reliable and proactive individual capable of working independently or as part of a small team.

Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
