Quality Control Technician – Days and Evenings Shift

We seek a detail‑oriented, proactive technician for a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The role reports to the Quality Control Team Leader and is based on site in Cardiff, working a shift pattern.

• Weekly rotation: 6 am–2 pm, 2 pm–10 pm
• Future shifts may include nights (10 pm–6 am) – date not yet set

• Operate testing equipment per Work Instructions, hourly targets, and safety requirements.
• Document and report test results, ensuring non‑conformances are reported accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area for a safe and efficient environment.

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a manufacturing facility or similar.
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision, using initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong focus on safety, quality and delivery.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment a plus.
• Experience with in a quality control environment / ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / pharma regulated manufacturing a plus.
• Able to make reasoned and objective decisions where necessary.
