OPERATIONAL MANAGER - BUSINESS PERFORMANCE & POLICY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced manager to lead the Business, Performance and Policy Team in Street Scene Services.
About the jobThe post holder will be responsible for implementing and delivering a framework to ensure the robust management of finance, performance and projects across Street Scene. The role will be pivotal to delivering the strategic direction of Street Scene by supporting, developing and implementing a change programme alongside other operational managers in the Senior Management Team.
The post holder will report directly to the Head of Recycling and Neighbourhood Services; however will also work within the Senior Management Team across Street Scene Services supporting the delivery of wider Corporate and Directorate objectives.
The role will have leadership, management and budgetary responsibility for the following core services:
- Finance and Business
- Performance
- Projects
The role will have line management responsibility for 4 Managers and indirect management for approximately 23 Officers. The budget responsibility is in the region of £1.1M gross expenditure and £0.6M income.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe successful candidate will have excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills to support the Directorate as it implements its ambitious change programme.
