Senior/Principal Consultant – Strategy & Feasibility

Join WSP in the UK & Ireland as a Senior/Principal Consultant for the Strategy & Feasibility team focusing on Rail, Light Rail, Freight and Local Authorities.

We are looking for consultants to join the Rail Strategy and Feasibility team. You will provide strategic rail advice to external and internal clients, coordinate multi‑disciplinary projects, develop our rail‑focused service offering, plan and deliver tasks and projects, involve yourself in bidding for new work, and engage with clients and the WSP global community.

• Experience working on rail, transport, light rail, freight or within transport for local authorities, including knowledge of legislative and funding processes.
• Understanding across operational planning, strategic planning, business case development and engineering feasibility.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to manage details.
• A professional, proactive, collaborative approach.
• Awareness of the consultancy environment.
• Organisational skills, project‑management approach, stakeholder management and ability to lead delivery teams.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Professional qualification or working towards one.
